The Northern Print

The Northern print is one of my best selling designs and was a real labour of love, taking several months to go from design to finished print. Inspired by traditional sign-painters and makers, I aimed for something that had a vintage feel, but was produced with modern homes and gallery walls in mind. With it’s bold and tactile typography and striking colours, I knew I wanted the prints to make a statement. I let ‘Northern’ be the main focal point and decided to go for a panoramic style of print.

The last couple of months of the design process was spent shopping around to find a large format print specialist to bring the design to life, as well as shopping around to make sure that picture frames would be easy to source, both for myself and my customers!

The final result is a real statement piece for people who are proud to be Northern
