Seagulls Paint - Crowdfunder Merch

The Problem: Seagulls Paint wanted to expand their offer as a social enterprise. They launched a Crowdfunder to realise ‘Seagulls Life House’ - a set of training rooms and workshop space that would specialise in running decorating courses for young people leaving care and ex-offenders. To help attract people to pledge money, they approached several artists and designers to produce ‘rewards’

The Solution: I offered them several designs - the first was simply a riff on their ‘Shirley Seagull’ mascot. This became a recurring motif throughout the other typographic based designs. The guys at Seagulls Paint ended up optioning three of my designs, creating a tote bag and two t-shirt designs. I was happy to play a part in helping them achieve their funding goal of £10K!
